Geoff Mate has always harbored a fervor for technology. He commenced his journey by working in the computer laboratory at his school, where he aided his fellow students with their technological needs. Through this experience, he honed his skills in networking and other IT competencies.
Geoff’s unwavering dedication to excellence led him to obtain a variety of IT certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, Apple, and Fortinet. He also pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut, followed by an MBA from Southern Connecticut State University.
Post his academic pursuits, Geoff worked as an IT administrator for a non-profit cancer research institution in New York. In this role, he spearheaded several IT projects to help the organization achieve its objectives. Following this, Geoff worked for various IT Managed Service Providers in Connecticut, starting as a network technician, and eventually ascending to the position of Systems Engineer.
Geoff is currently an instrumental member of the Projects Team at Vancord, where he has been employed for the past four years. He consistently devises innovative solutions to ensure that our clients have a superior experience.
