Anthony started his professional IT career as a System Administrator in the SLED space directly out of college. He participated in the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Grant to upgrade IT infrastructures in Connecticut. His sites were some of the first to utilize the newly formed Connecticut Education Network (CEN) and where his expertise in technology culminated with several Cisco and SCADA certifications under his belt. After leaving the SLED space to work with a close associate on technology projects, he was exposed to SAP integration, Citrix V, and Tool Development; landing him squarely into DevOps. It was here that Anthony’s leadership became apparent: He was able to lead a small cross-functional team to make the impossible, possible. It was this quality, and the ability to seamlessly fuse technical and leadership prowess, that landed him a role as an IT Director for a solenoid manufacturing company in CT, where he was responsible for overhauling production schedulers that communicated with multi-million dollar equipment locally and remotely, which again required advanced knowledge of multiple IT disciplines to succeed. Eager for continuous learning, Anthony has also received several ITIL and Security certifications. His story continues today, when he joined Vancord’s impressive top-talent team in 2019 as a seasoned IT veteran and leader where he strives to deliver the best service possible for Vancord’s clients.
