March 19, 2025, Milford, CT: Today, Vancord, announces the appointment of Jim Pellegrino to the Director of Sales position. Pellegrino, a specialist in MSP and cybersecurity disciplines, steps into a leadership role overseeing sales for the aforementioned MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider).
“I’m excited to bring my previous experience with MSPs, and more recently, in cybersecurity, to the highly skilled team at Vancord,” says Pellegrino. “I hope to meet and exceed both our short and long term goals by working smarter rather than harder- removing obstacles and broadcasting, both locally and nationally.”
Pellegrino brings with him over 25 years of experience in the field of sales and cybersecurity. Most recently, from Barracuda Networks, an XDR (Extended Detection and Response service provider) that in 2021, acquired SKOUT CYBERSECURITY, a New York-based channel-only XDR provider. Jim joined SKOUT as Channel Account Manager when it was a startup during the pandemic. In less than 2 years, post-acquisition, Pellegrino took the helm of Regional Account Director.
Prior to SKOUT, Pellegrino was Sales & Operations Manager at Technology Revealed, the largest and oldest Mac-only consulting group in CT, and its sister company, Up To Code Data Cabling, specializing in the design, installation, performance testing and documentation of superior quality telecommunications networks (Data, Voice, Fiber). Jim was responsible for operations and for new business development for both companies.
Pellegrino has enjoyed a 10 year rapport with the leadership at Vancord, with whom he’s built inherent and mutual trust.
